DEL, a legendary emcee in the bay and a reclusive underground artist since his second album, 'No need for alarm'. The ridiculously delicious rhymes that his pen churns out, combined with the mystery of how he 'does his thing', make it even more fantastical to get a glimpse.

Now, every Monday figures enter or leave the Funk Lab. This makes him more influential, as he launches a Golden Ticket-esque extravaganza — the chosen participants gain access to the lab and a manic bounty of recordings — causing a global frenzy to record with the man.

But all the tales that have risen up around him and his lab don't do justice to what awaits visitors every week. Del the Funky Homosapien spent many years turning his lab into a marvel, an elaborate underground bunker of audio architecture — containing stimulating goods — an innovation as eloquent as it is incomprehensible; a world created in his own eccentric image.

While he's intelligent, imaginative, and fundamentally accurate, he also operates on a different plane. The lighthearted individual he is, also reveals someone to be taken seriously.
